Trusted Contact Person
What is a Trusted Contact Person?
A Trusted Contact Person (TCP) is someone who you authorize to receive notifications from Lighthouse Registry about your registered property. A TCP has no legal rights with respect to your property and cannot make decisions on your behalf. Their role is limited to being someone who may help respond to a notification in the event that you are unable to respond to a notification. We recommend that you choose at least two TCPs who may include your adult children, siblings, friends, and close neighbours. Naming more than one TCP can help ensure that someone can respond to notifications in the event you cannot be reached or are otherwise unable to respond. Multiple TCPs also help ensure transparency and enhances your overall level of protection against real estate fraud.
